Interschools Snowsports

The Interschool Snowsport Championships offer Australian school students of all ages the chance to experience snowsports at both recreational and competitive levels.

Students from Kindergarten to Year 12 can compete for their school as part of a team or individually across nine discipline events. Each year, over 7,000 students from nearly 700 schools participate.

The Championships have introduced thousands of students to competitive skiing and snowboarding, fostering a lifelong passion for the sport. Many have progressed to professional instructing, coaching, and elite competitions, including World Cups and the Olympics.

More than 80 Australian Olympians and Paralympians began their competitive journey in the Interschool Snowsport Championships.
